We really enjoyed the first Tiny Home Industry Association (THIA) Action & Impact Conference held on Thursday, November 10th at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort.

THIA was created to advocate for the “tiny home” lifestyle and movement. Staying true to it’s mission, THIA’s 1st Annual Action & Impact Symposium brought brought this emerging industry’s extraordinary people, products, and policies together for one day. Topics included:
-Breaking the barrier between the tiny house industry and the DIY community
-Challenges with zoning, coding, and building standards
-Partners in the tiny house industry
-Strategies for success

A huge thanks goes out to CEO of Ensemble Ventures Mike Schmidt and VP of Marketing at ecoCabins Coles Whalen! Breakfast, lunch, and the cocktail hour were delightful times to network with the backdrop of Cheyenne Mountain.

Our very own Martin Burlingame spoke about our Tiny Home Insurance Program and fielded questions during the cocktail hour in the exhibitors’ area.

Rod Stambaugh of Sprout Tiny Homes welcomed everyone.

Mike Schmidt of Ensemble Ventures shared the core mission of THIA.

Coles Whalen of ecoCabins and Tiny House Jamboree spoke on the importance of THIA Membership.

Other industry leaders: Darin Zaruba of ecoCabins, Daryl Thompson of Nouveau Homes LLC, Brad Weisman of Garmin, Chuck Ballard of Pacific West Tiny Homes, Jaja Jackson Director of Global Multifamily Housing Partnerships at AirBnB.
